Tonya Vogelbacher is an Occupational Therapist with over 27 years of experience. She received her degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Florida and a Master in Business Administration with a focus on Healthcare Management from the University of South Florida. Tonya is a Level 1 Handwriting Specialist certified by Handwriting Without Tears. Since receiving her degree, she has expanded upon her education to stay up to date on the newest treatment strategies in occupational therapy. Throughout her career, Tonya has worked in a variety of different settings, including pediatric home health, the public school system, and John Hopkins All-Children’s Hospital.
Tonya has extensive experience working with children with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Autism Spectrum Disorder, Developmental Delays, and Learning Disabilities. She uses a child-centered approach implementing innovative activities to meet the interest of the child to develop their skills and independence. Tonya values a collaborative approach with parents, teachers, and medical providers to ensure the carry-over of a child’s new skills into their home and school setting.
